Former WWE Superstar Braun Strowman is teasing a return to in-ring action.
Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman’s time with the promotion came to an end after his full-time contract expired in July 2025. However, while he was not an active wrestler for the company, Strowman hosted WWE Studios’ food travel show Everything on the Menu, which premiered on the USA Network in October 2025. He recently announced that the show is set for a second season.
Now, he’s teasing a return to pro wrestling this summer. When a fan asked him on X/Twitter when he’s planning to get back in the ring, Braun Strowman replied:
“Maybe this summer. I’m mid filming season two of everything on the menu now and have a few other projects. So will see.”
Braun Strowman’s last match took place on the April 18, 2025, episode of SmackDown, where he teamed with LA Knight to defeat Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa. He also claimed in the same thread that he can squash former NXT Champion Oba Femi faster than he did Goldberg at WrestleMania 36.
Braun Strowman previously said he was taking a break from wrestling
Speaking on a recent episode of the Going Ringside podcast, Braun Strowman noted that he’s on a break from wrestling to enjoy some time away from the ring and get himself back to his normal condition.
“I’m taking a break right now,” Braun Strowman said. “These (his hands) are always ready if anybody wants them. But right now, I’m enjoying taking a little break, getting my body healed back up as to normal as I can, and experiencing some other things that life had to experience.”
“I loved my time with WWE, but it took up every bit of my time. Now, I’m having some opportunities to get out do some other stuff, see some other things. I’ve made some ventures. I have a tequila brand now, Quintaliza, that we’re working on that. So man, just living life and having fun,” Braun Strowman said.
He was recently hospitalized due to a bad infection in his right knee. It appears he’s back on his feet now that he’s filming the second season of his food show.
