Will Ospreay is back in AEW!
Following Jon Moxley’s successful AEW Continental Championship defense against Konosuke Takeshita at AEW Revolution, a cinematic-style video package played, showcasing Will Ospreay’s recovery. The former International Champion then made his way out and went straight after Moxley and the Death Riders.
Jon Moxley and the Death Riders took Will Ospreay out following the lights-out steel cage match at the AEWxNJPW Forbidden Door PPV in August 2025. AEW played out the angle to write Ospreay off so he could undergo neck surgery.
Reports indicated that Will Ospreay had been working out in the ring in an effort to return to active competition. The 32-year-old looked great as he entered the ring and caught Moxley with a Hidden Blade. He then fought off the rest of the Death Riders and celebrated in the ring to a thunderous response from the crowd.
Jon Moxley stood tall after finally defeating Konosuke Takeshita, and the two even shook hands after the match. However, the Purveyor of Violence will have to answer for his past regressions, as Will Ospreay has come back for him and the Death Riders.
Will Ospreay is not the only star to return at AEW Revolution, as Adam Copeland and Christian Cage also made a surprise appearance and took out FTR after their successful tag team title defense against the Young Bucks.
