Roderick Strong Returns To Back Up Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin on AEW Dynamite

Chaos unfolded on the March 11 episode of AEW Dynamite as Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin found themselves battling more than just their scheduled opponents.

The duo teamed up to face David Finlay and Gabe Kidd — collectively known as the Dogs — in a tag team match that quickly turned into a chaotic brawl both inside and outside the ring.

While Cassidy and Allin managed bursts of offense, the contest ultimately tilted in favor of the Dogs as outside interference and brute force began to pile up.

However, the story didn’t end with the final bell.

Roderick Strong Returns During Post-Match Brawl on AEW Dynamite

Cassidy and Finlay started the match with a tense exchange before Kidd tagged in and attacked Cassidy from behind. Soon, all four competitors were fighting around the ringside, with Finlay driving Cassidy’s face into the apron while Darby Allin traded strikes with Kidd.

Momentum swung back and forth throughout the match. Cassidy landed his trademark offense — even drawing a line in the ring before putting his hands in his pockets — while Allin delivered high-risk attacks, including dives and a springboard elbow.

Despite the bursts of offense, the Dogs eventually regained control. The match ended when Kidd hit a jumping piledriver on Allin, securing the pinfall victory.

After the match, the assault continued. Clark Connors appeared from the crowd and attacked Cassidy, leaving the Dogs in position to inflict more damage on both babyfaces.

That’s when the situation took an unexpected turn.

Roderick Strong made his return, walking to the ring as if he might target Cassidy himself. Instead, Strong shoved Cassidy toward the Dogs and joined the fight on the babyface side. The trio quickly cleared the ring, with Strong finishing the exchange by hitting End of Heartache on Connors.

The segment closed with Strong, Cassidy, and Allin standing tall — leaving fans wondering whether Strong may finally be aligning with The Conglomeration.
