The fallout after NXT Vengeance Day continued on the March 10 episode of WWE NXT. The Culling attacked Tatum Paxley, but later in the night, the group ended up facing some unexpected payback backstage.
The show started with Paxley coming to the ring as the crowd celebrated the new NXT Women’s North American Champion.
Paxley spoke openly about her journey. She said that for most of her life, she struggled to fit in and often wondered if she needed to change who she was just to be accepted. After winning the title at Vengeance Day, Paxley said things finally started to make sense for her.
She explained that she didn’t win the championship because someone helped her. Instead, she won because the fans believed in her.
She also discussed her complicated history with The Culling and admitted that she once fought for them, especially alongside Izzi Dame. But she said this title win belonged to the fans who supported her all along.
But the celebration didn’t last long.
Dame came out and interrupted Paxley. She mocked Paxley’s victory and sarcastically said beating her must have been the best day of Paxley’s life.
Dame said Paxley was pretending to be someone she wasn’t and called her the “chameleon of NXT,” saying the same lonely outsider was still hiding inside her.
As the argument continued, Shawn Spears and Niko Vance appeared on the ring apron. The distraction allowed Dame to attack Paxley, and the champion was left lying in the ring while Dame stood over her and lifted the championship belt.
Even though The Culling looked strong in that moment, things changed later backstage.
The Group Found Their Car Wrecked Backstage
Paxley was later seen searching for Dame backstage. She then ran into Shiloh Hill. When Paxley said she wanted to confront Dame before the group left the arena, Hill hinted he might have an idea. Holding a lug wrench, the two walked away together, giggling.
Later in the night, members of The Culling tried to leave the building. When they reached the parking lot, they found their car sitting on blocks with the tires missing.
Hill then showed up holding a tire iron and explained what happened. He joked that he didn’t know which car belonged to The Culling, so he removed the tires from every car present there.
Soon after, Robert Stone arrived to check the situation. He found himself stuck in the middle as The Culling angrily questioned him about what had happened.
