Booker T is thrilled to be making his commentary debut in WWE 2K26.
While Hall of Famer Booker T has appeared as a wrestler in many WWE video games over the years, he will make his official debut as a commentator in WWE 2K26. The legend spoke about his experience working on the game in a new video shared by WWE 2K on X/Twitter. He also revealed that he even used some of the quotes from the game while on commentary in NXT.
“Man, it’s been an awesome experience working with 2K, finally getting my voice in the game. I think I bit off a little more than I could chew, though,” Booker T said. “I know it’s more reading than I’ve ever done in my life, and I use a lot of the quotes from the video game on NXT, so it’s actually pretty cool. ‘No bread, no water, just meat,’ as well as ‘It’s all about checks and championships!’
“I’ve had a great career, and so many people remember me from my wrestling career. So many kids come up to me now, and they recognize me from being a commentator, and a lot of them didn’t even know I was a wrestler,” Booker T said. “So now in the video game, I’m immortalized as a commentator. So I think it’s pretty awesome.”
While the Attitude Era, King of Kings, and Monday Night War Editions were released via early access on March 6, the Standard Edition of WWE 2K26 will release on Friday, March 13.
