MJF Interference Leads to Major Title Change on AEW Dynamite

The main event of this week’s AEW Dynamite ended in a big title change, thanks to the interference by MJF.

It had already been a busy night for Adam Page. He picked up a quick squash win over Marty Snow. But things got more serious later when Page had a tense face-to-face moment with MJF.

Page was then suddenly attacked from behind by members of the Don Callis Family- Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, and Mark Davis.

After that, Don Callis came out and made an announcement that he had spoken with AEW President Tony Khan and arranged a Trios Championship match for later in the night.

Now, Jet Set Rodeo’s open challenge got into the main event, where they had to defend their AEW World Trios titles against Okada, Fletcher, and Davis.

The match itself was fast. Both teams had their moments throughout. But the biggest moment came near the end of the match.

MJF Gets Involved As AEW World Trios Titles Change Hands

Just as Page seemed to be gaining momentum for his team, MJF suddenly ran into the ring and hit him with the Dynamite Diamond Ring. The surprise attack took Page out instantly and left Knight alone against three opponents.

The challengers quickly took advantage of the situation.

Okada hit Knight with his Rainmaker, and then Davis finished the job with a jumping piledriver. The referee counted the pin, and the Don Callis Family officially became the new AEW World Trios Champions.

The interference has now added more layers to several rivalries.

Page will likely want revenge on MJF for costing his team the match. At the same time, Knight and Bailey have even more reason to chase the singles titles held by members of the Callis Family.

For Don Callis and his group, if Konosuke Takeshita manages to defeat Jon Moxley at AEW Revolution, the Callis Family could soon hold even more championships in AEW.
