AEW Double Or Nothing 2026 Date and Venue Confirmed

AEW will bring a pay-per-view event to New York City for the first time with Double or Nothing 2026.

A recent report noted that AEW Double or Nothing 2026 will take place at the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. Now, the New York Post has learned that it is indeed the case. AEW also confirmed the same in an official announcement on its website.

AEW will bring the event to the 14,000-plus-seat stadium on Sunday, May 24. While the company has hosted PPVs in the New York area at the Nassau Coliseum, UBS Arena, and Prudential Center, this is the first time one will take place inside the five boroughs.

AEW Double or Nothing will air live around the world on pay-per-view and stream live on HBO Max. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, March 9, at 10 AM ET.

MJF commented on AEW Double or Nothing coming to New York City

Being a native of Long Island, New York, AEW World Champion MJF commented on the importance of an NYC show, even if it’s in Queens. He is also confident that he will walk into Double or Nothing as champion after defeating Hangman Page at Revolution.

“When people think of America, when they don’t live in America, they think of New York. Every single famous movie is based in New York,” MJF told The Post in a phone interview. “The most famous professional wrestler who ever lived, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, is from New York. … the nice part is I don’t have to schlep as far as I usually do for the pay-per-view.

“It’s called MJF. Ticket sales are up, ratings are up, momentum is up,” MJF said. “More people are talking about our company than they have in a long time and it’s because daddy has the world title. I’m the greatest wrestler on God’s green earth. … I will be defeating ‘Hangman’ Adam Page at Revolution because he’s a loser and I can assure you I will be walking into Double or Nothing still the AEW world champion and I look forward to defeating whoever comes my way at that point.”
