There’s a new update on Bianca Belair’s WWE return amid her prolonged hiatus.
WWE fans were quite concerned after former Women’s Champion Bianca Belair didn’t return at the 2026 Royal Rumble. She has been on the sidelines since suffering an injury to her left hand at WrestleMania 41. While Belair did return as a special guest referee at Evolution 2025, she has yet to return to the ring.
According to Bodyslam+, Bianca Belair is currently on an internal list in WWE with a tag that has no designated return date. Another source had revealed that her rehab and recovery process has been rough and unprecedented. However, despite the complications, “Belair is said to have kept a positive mindset throughout this entire ordeal.”
Bianca Belair explained why she’s still not back in WWE
During a recent appearance on BET’s 106 & Sports, Bianca Belair explained her frustration with the lengthy recovery process. Belair revealed that she didn’t break her fingers, but broke her knuckle during her match at WrestleMania 41.
“So, I broke my knuckle,” Bianca revealed. “Not my finger, I broke my knuckle. I broke the joint. It’s something that I thought was gonna be a very straightforward, you know, eight to 12 weeks. It’s been almost six months (ten now) at this point.
“But it was WrestleMania, and I was in a triple threat [match] with Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. And we were going to the top rope, ‘cause that’s what we do. And we came off the top rope, and Rhea landed straight on my hand, and it just crushed everything in my finger. So, it’s been a crazy journey.
“Being an athlete and having an injury, you rely on your body, and now my body’s not doing what it’s supposed to do. But I’m hoping I can be back in the ring soon,” Bianca Belair said [H/T Cageside Seats]
