Chris Jericho WWE Return Rumor Killer

The Chris Jericho WWE return rumors are getting out of control as we head to the Royal Rumble later this weekend.

For months, there have been persistent rumors that Chris Jericho will be departing AEW to return to WWE. Many have pinpointed the Royal Rumble this weekend for his potential return despite him still being on the AEW official roster page.

While some reports certainly have merit, others have chosen to go the route of making things up for internet clout on one of WWE’s busiest news weeks of the year.

Multiple wrestling “newz” pages on social media are claiming that WWE has trademarked the term “Judas” ahead of the Royal Rumble this weekend. Claiming this is an indication that Jericho will be returning to the company later this week.

You can check some of this nonsense below:

WWE has NOT trademarked Judas

WWE’s latest trademark filing with the USPTO is for the term “Career Killer,” which is likely for Gunther.

The only pending trademark for Judas is from Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (CORPORATION; NEW YORK, USA) for a video game. And no, this is not in any connection with a WWE 2K video game.

Chris Jericho at one point trademarked the term “Judas Juice” for alcohol purposes, but has since abandoned said filing.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
