It wasn’t a great night for Tony D’Angelo this evening on WWE NXT.
Tonight’s episode of WWE NXT began with General Manager Ava asking her security guards to be on alert tonight for his presence.
Ava’s security guards evidently didn’t do a great job, as D’Angelo quickly made his presence felt, attacking Shiloh Hill and Josh Briggs following their NXT Championship ladder match qualifier.
Instead of doing her job and managing her roster in-house, Ava felt it would be best to call the police on D’Angelo instead. Tony would reappear later in the show, attacking both Sean Legacy and Eli Knight following their NXT Championship ladder match qualifier.
This attack led to Ava bringing out the police to arrest Tony D and take him out of the WWE Performance Center in handcuffs.
It’s pretty clear, based on his attacks this evening, that D’Angelo is looking to stake his claim to the NXT Championship. If the General Manager can’t see that, perhaps someone more qualified should be in her position.
