AEW Star Opens Up About Their Battle With Body Dysmorphia

An AEW star has recently opened up about their battles with body dysmorphia.

A lot of people struggle with things like body dysmorphia in their daily lives. Sometimes it helps to see someone in the public eye going through the same thing.

All Elite Wrestling’s Dustin Rhodes took to social media today to post an uplifting message to those struggling with their bodies, admitting he goes through the same thing, tweeting out:

“Feel some of you may need this today. God built you perfect!! A lot of us have body dysmorphia, but in reality, it’s up to us to be ok with our bodies and NOT worry about what ANYBODY else thinks. You will be happier. Some ugly people may criticize your look or say nasty things to you, take it in stride, block them all. There will always be hateful people out there, hold your head up high!!! #KeepSteppin,” Dustin Rhodes said in a post.

When a fan responded, thanking him for the post, telling him it was helpful to hear, Rhodes spoke about his issues in-depth and his path to overcoming them.

“I am the worst at body dysmorphia, you look at my Pops and his Chest, which I have the same chest and mine has embarrassed me most of my life. Now, I am clean and sober, down in weight, and working my ass off and have accepted me for me without any embarrassment anymore. Cause really, who GAF,” Dustin Rhodes said in response.

Rhodes is currently battling back from double knee replacement surgery. He hopes to return to the ring for AEW later this year.
