WWE reportedly has big plans for Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer in 2026.
Back in September, Stephanie Vaquer captured the vacant Women’s World Championship at Wrestlepalooza in the match of the show against IYO SKY. Since then, La Primera has looked dominant as the champion on RAW, and that seems like it will continue well into 2026.
According to a new report from BodySlam+, WWE sees tremendous value in pairing up Vaquer against Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch at different points this year.
The company also plans to pair Vaquer up with Liv Morgan at some point. However, that will take place sometime down the road as the company doesn’t consider it to be an imminent buildup.
It will be very interesting if WWE chooses to select Vaquer’s WrestleMania 42 opponent via the Royal Rumble or if they’ll wait until Elimination Chamber. We’ll find out soon enough.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
