Next Challenger For Jon Moxley’s AEW Continental Title Seemingly Revealed

Jon Moxley‘s next challenger for the AEW Continental Championship may have been revealed tonight.

During Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, a New Year’s Smash, Jon Moxley defeated Josh Alexander in a Title Eliminator match for his belt. After the win, which saw Alexander pass out after being caught in a Rear Naked Choke, the chaos started. As he was catching his breath after the win, two stars made their way out.

MVP and Shelton Benjamin made their way out to the ring and began staring down Jon Moxley. Things didn’t go much further than that, but Benjamin’s message was clear. Instead of going up the ramp, Moxley chose to leave the ring and exit via the crowd.

Benjamin’s desire for the belt isn’t too surprising. The star almost made it through to the C2 semifinals last year, and the star is still looking to score a big win heading into the new year. Jon Moxley has a firm grip on the title, though, so it’ll be interesting to see when the two clash.
