Adam Cole Appears On AEW Worlds End Kickoff

Adam Cole made a cameo appearance during the AEW Worlds End kickoff show.

All Elite Wrestling aired a video message from Adam Cole during the Worlds End kickoff show. The former AEW TNT Champion appeared on screen to thank fans for their continued support amid his absence before offering his predictions for the upcoming Continental Classic semifinal matches.

“AEW fans, it’s Adam Cole, and let me start by saying thank you for your love and support over these past few months. Hopefully, you’ll be seeing a lot more of me in 2026,” Cole said.

Tonight marked Adam Cole’s first AEW television appearance since All In: Texas, when he addressed the live crowd regarding his in-ring absence. Following All In, it was reported that Cole is currently dealing with another concussion, an injury that has caused him issues in recent years.

Tony Khan on Adam Cole’s AEW absence

During a previous appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Tony Khan provided an update on Adam Cole’s medical status, noting that Cole will always have a role in the promotion if he chooses to continue with AEW.

“I think it would have to be the right situation for Adam to wrestle again. I think it’s at least possible that we would keep Adam as part of the family, but I want to get to where he feels good about traveling and doing things every week again. But I’ve been open with him that when he’s ready, there’s always a role in AEW for him.

“He had been a commentator at times, and he’s been one of the hosts of the shows. He’s great for that. He’s a great talent. He could be involved in a lot of things, and if he ever did want to wrestle again, and it was the right situation, and everybody could wrap their heads around it, so to speak, I think that it could make a lot of sense.

“But anything involving head injuries or serious injuries, I always want to look at it and evaluate, does this make sense, and is there an opportunity to do this safely, where it’s going to be a good outcome for everybody.”
