There is a new update on the status of this veteran performer ahead of AEW Worlds End.
All Elite Wrestling is less than an hour away from presenting its final pay-per-view of 2025. Worlds End is set to take place at the Now Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
Ahead of the show, there has been speculation regarding Christian Cage‘s on-air return. Fans have wondered whether the former AEW TNT Champion would make his return at Worlds End.
However, there is some disappointing news for fans hoping to see Christian Cage tonight. Confirming a report from Fightful Select, WrestleVotes noted that the “Patriarch of AEW” is not on location for the event.
“As first noted in the @FightfulSelect Worlds End scoops thread – Christian Cage is not on location tonight for the PPV. He is taking in some AHL Hockey in Bridgeport, CT.”
Christian Cage was last seen in action at AEW All Out, where he teamed with Adam Copeland to defeat FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) in a tag team match.
It’s more likely that fans will see Christian back on AEW programming when Nick Wayne gets cleared, or when Cope is ready to return from filming Percy Jackson.
