Seth Rollins has shared honest thoughts on the challenges of filming Netflix’s WWE: Unreal, as he prepares to appear in the upcoming second season of the series.
The first season of WWE: Unreal premiered on Netflix on July 29, 2025, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the company. Season 1 focused on major moments such as Triple H’s leadership role, CM Punk main eventing his first WrestleMania.
It also featured Jey Uso winning the Royal Rumble, John Cena’s shocking heel turn, Charlotte Flair’s return and Chelsea Green capturing the Women’s United States Championship and more.
Netflix has already confirmed WWE: Unreal Season 2, which is set to premiere on January 20, 2026. The new season will spotlight several top WWE names, including Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Rhea Ripley, Cody Rhodes, Iyo Sky, Pat McAfee, Jelly Roll, R-Truth, Naomi, Chelsea Green, Penta, and Lyra Valkyria.
Rollins previously said that WWE: Unreal took the magic out of the business. He recently expanded on his feelings during an interview with Ross Tucker. While discussing the series, Rollins explained, “You know, Unreal is interesting because it’s actually — I say this is a very kind way, it’s actually more of a hassle, right? It’s an extra crew of people following you around and dissecting everything you’re doing, so you’re on all the time in times when you’re not thinking about being on.”
“It’s a bit of an extra step for us. I hope the end result is good and I hope it helps kind of portray our family dynamic in a business that’s not really known for family dynamics in a positive light and creates sort of an inspiration for people to know that you can do this thing and you can wrestle and have a family and it can all work together.”
