Seth Rollins reveals the special gift The Rock sent him after he got hurt at WrestleMania 40.
Rollins teamed up with Cody Rhodes in a tag team match against The Rock and Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 40 Night One. He lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Drew McIntyre and also came out to help Rhodes during his match against Reigns the following night, but he was seen limping.
The former World Heavyweight Champion had to undergo surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his knee and was out of action for two months. Speaking with Julian Edelman on Games With Names, Seth Rollins revealed that The Rock sent him a large amount of ice cream and chocolate while he was out hurt following their match at WrestleMania 40.
“Ah, what a guy! I’m friends with DJ (Dwayne Johnson) now. I got hurt after WrestleMania 40, and he sent me like a giant, I mean, it was so much ice cream and chocolate. We still have pints in the back fridge, because there’s too much ice cream to go through. He’s a big cheat day guy,” Seth Rollins said.
Seth Rollins Shared A New Update On Recovery From Shoulder Surgery
During his appearance on the December 3 episode of the Rich Eisen Show, Rollins revealed that he had the braces removed the past week and that he’s on the right track in his recovery.
“We’re on track. Yeah, we’re on track. I got the brace off last week, middle of last week, so it’s nice. It’s nice to walk around like a regular person.
“I know there’s a lot of skepticism in your question, TJ, but you can consult my surgeon,” Seth Rollins joked. “I’m just saying, there was a lot of condescension in your voice. I’m feeling alright. I’m feeling alright. It’s nice to get around without the brace, I’ll say that. But yeah, we’re on track.”
