A WWE RAW star has undergone surgery.
Member of The Judgment Day and a former WWE World Tag Team Champion, JD McDonagh, has taken to his Instagram stories to announce that he has undergone surgery. McDonagh posted a picture of himself with a cast on his hand.
The WWE star mentioned he has been dealing with pain over the past few months and has chosen to take time off for recovery. He didn’t give a specific timeline for his return and simply noted that it wouldn’t take long.
“Been working thru some stuff for the last few months, but now is the time to pump the brakes and get put back together. Won’t be long, BRB.”
The Irish wrestler took some time off at the start of this year due to the broken ribs and a punctured lung he sustained after a botched moonsault to the outside of the ring. He returned in April on the RAW after WrestleMania 41 and went on to have a 112-day World Tag Team Championship run with Finn Balor. He last competed on the November 24, 2025, episode of WWE RAW in a match against Rey Mysterio.
Here’s wishing JD McDonagh a speedy recovery.
