A former WWE star made their AEW in-ring debut at a taping this past Wednesday.
Nixon Newell, formerly known as Tegan Nox, made her in-ring debut for All Elite Wrestling, teaming up with Miranda Alize against Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir at the October 29 Collision taping.
The match will air on tape delay this Saturday. WrestleZone already has the spoiler results for the November 1 AEW Collision broadcast, which fans can check out below.
It is worth noting that Newell and Alize made their AEW TV debut last Saturday on Collision. The pair interrupted TayJay (Tay Melo and Anna Jay) during their backstage interview with Lexi Nair. Fans can catch up on everything that went down on last week’s Collision here.
Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize are not believed to be under AEW contract, according to Dave Meltzer (via Wrestling Observer Radio). Regarding their appearance, Meltzer suggested it was likely an opportunity for them to secure a deal with All Elite Wrestling.
“I didn’t get the impression that they’re signed to a deal so much as that they’re being brought in for a tag team match, and you know, kind of like, if you do good, you know, whatever. I haven’t heard that they’re signed or anything, but we’ll see,” Meltzer said.
