Top WWE Star Reportedly Dealing With Legitimate Injury

A new report reveals that WWE star Seth Rollins may have been injured at WWE Crown Jewel.

Following his victory over Cody Rhodes at the event, Seth Rollins had mentioned that he experienced a rough landing in one coast-to-coast headbutt when he threw himself at Rhodes. Following the match, Rollins was also spotted in a sling on his arm with a fan.

He also stated that there could be “long-term ramifications” due to the landing. A day later, he was shockingly attacked by The Vision on WWE RAW. Reports later confirmed that the shocking segment was a creative decision made because the World Heavyweight Champion had actually suffered a real injury.

According to PWInsider, WWE decided to remove Rollins from The Vision because of the injury he suffered during his match with Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel. However, the exact details of the injury are still unknown. However, many within the company believe Rollins hurt his shoulder while attempting the coast-to-coast diving headbutt on Rhodes.

Fightful Select also confirmed that The Vision’s attack on Seth Rollins was part of a major creative change. It was noted that Bron Breakker’s split from the faction wasn’t originally planned and was expected to happen sometime next year.

A source, who it was stressed was speaking on their own behalf and not WWE’s, mentioned a broken arm would “probably end up better” than a shoulder injury because a broken bone would heal quickly enough to get Rollins back by December. However, it was also noted that WWE cannot avoid a “drastic change” if it ends up being a more serious shoulder injury. Rollins was also careful while filming segments at RAW and tried to hide the injury under baggier clothing.

There is still a hope that the injury might not be as bad as originally believed, citing the fact that Rollins got cleared for the RAW segment. Rollins is expected to undergo more testing this week.

Since the shocking attack, Seth Rollins has remained silent. Meanwhile, Bron Breakker reacted by posting photos from the attack on his Instagram with the caption, “The Vision has never been more clear.”

WWE has not released an official statement about the severity of Rollins’ injury. It will be see what happens next, especially after CM Punk won a Triple Threat Match to become the number one contender.
