Report: Update On HOOK’s AEW Status

AEW teased the return of HOOK last night on AEW Dynamite, but where do things stand between the two sides?

Earlier this year, it was reported that HOOK’s contract with All Elite Wrestling was set to expire at some point this year and that he had hired Barry Bloom as his agent to negotiate his new contract. But with the Cold Hearted Handsome Devil set to make his return to AEW programming following a concussion, what does that mean for his contract?

According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), HOOK is firmly under contract with All Elite Wrestling.

Sapp states he learned the former FTW Champion signed a new multi-year deal with the company back in 2024. Further details on what the deal entails are unknown.

It’s unknown when HOOK will return to television, but based on last night’s vignette, it should happen sooner rather than later.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
