HOOK Confirms Reason For Current AEW Absence

HOOK explains his recent absence from AEW programming.

Back on the April 9 episode of AEW Dynamite from Baltimore, HOOK was injured in a post-match angle with Claudio Castagnoli. He would return the following month to get revenge against Castagnoli at Double or Nothing, but we haven’t seen him since.

All Elite Wrestling’s HOOK was a recent guest on Wrestling Observer Live. When asked about his recent absence following Double or Nothing, HOOK confirmed that he did suffer a concussion back in April, but hopes he’ll be able to return soon.

“I’m recovering from a concussion, for those who don’t know,” he said. “But I’ve been out for a while and should be back soon.”

Hopefully, upon his return, they will explain the exchange between him and Samoa Joe during Anarchy in the Arena at Double or Nothing.

On behalf of everyone here at WrestleZone, we wish HOOK a quick and painless recovery.
