Report: Update on Myron Reed’s TNA Contract Status

Myron Reed is currently working with TNA Wrestling. But has he signed a contract?

At TNA Slammiversary, it was announced that Trey Miguel from The Rascalz couldn’t take part in the show due to a hernia injury. Miguel said he would be taking time off after the show, but ended up being replaced in the match. In his place, Myron Reed stepped in and teamed up with Zachary Wentz to compete in the TNA Tag Team Title Ladder Match.

Although Reed teamed with Wentz, The Hardys captured the TNA World Tag Team Titles by defeating The Rascalz, The Nemeths, and First Class. The match ended in a unique way when Jeff Hardy secured the win by using a rope ladder that dropped from the ceiling. Hardy climbed the hanging rope ladder and unhooked the titles to win the match.

Following the show, fans noticed that TNA added Myron Reed to their official roster page. This led to speculation that he had signed a full-time deal with the company. According to Fightful Select, sources in TNA revealed that Reed has not signed a deal.

He’s still a free agent and is wrestling on a freelance basis, even though TNA hopes to keep using him in the future. Myron Reed previously worked in TNA Wrestling and made several appearances back in 2024. Prior to his run in TNA, Reed worked for MLW as a singles wrestler, where he won the promotion’s Middleweight Championship three times.

Reed, along with Wentz, Miguel and Dezmond Xavier (WWE NXT’s Wes Lee) formed the Rascalz back in 2018. Reed is still considered to be an official member of the group despite them splitting off into separate promotions a few years ago.
