FTR Attack Another Longtime Friend On AEW Collision

FTR took to the ring tonight on AEW Collision to explain their attack on Cope, and later on attacked another friend.

In the ring tonight, the group said that they attacked Cope at AEW Dynasty because they deemed him selfish. They said it wasn’t a premeditated thing, but felt Cope was more concerned with trying to relive his glory days as a legend.

Afterward, they turned their attention to Tony Schiavone. One thing led to another and FTR then grabbed Schiavone and set him up for a piledriver, but Nigel ran into the ring. He and FTR began jawing with one another, letting Schiavone get up. To help Nigel, Daniel Garcia then came running out.

He went to grab Harwood, but Harwood turned and shoved Garcia. This shocked Harwood, and he immediately began helping up Garcia, while profusely apologizing.

Later on in the show, FTR beat Daddy Magic and Cool Hand Ang in a tag team match. After the match, Garcia (who was at ringside) kept yelling at the duo to stop assaulting Magic and Ang, however, and that led to chaos. FTR grabbed Garcia and turned their sights on him, surprisingly attacking their longtime friend.

The group wasted little time dismantling Garcia, and had him set up for a dual piledriver move when security came running out. FTR attacked them and the refs, though, and only stopped when the Paragon came running out to save Garcia. The segment ended with FTR leaving the ring and jawing with Paragon as they left.
