AEW Collision Results:
This week’s episode of AEW Collision kicks off with the announcement of PAC’s injury and that Jon Moxley will step in to defend the Trios Titles with the Death Riders. They will defend the titles against The Opps this Wednesday on Dynamite.
FTR come to the ring to speak. Cash Wheeler says what happened at Dynasty wasn’t easy for him, and it wasn’t premeditated. Wheeler says he’s known Cope longer than Harwood, but the longer Dax talked, the more sense he made.
Wheeler says Copeland only cared about himself, and he held down their careers to lift his own. Cash said it just clicked for him after their match at Dynasty, and he just needed to do it. Wheeler says he’s not a helpless kid anymore, and he’s tired of Copeland treating him like one.
Dax Harwood says the cool thing to do is boo them when they are talking. Harwood says he has something important to say. Harwood says he saw a sign in the crowd that said, “Why FTR why?” Dax says instead they should be thanking them.
"You're too damn selfish!"

Dax says Copeland was riding their coattails since he came into AEW. Harwood says they waited for four months with nothing to do beyond being Copeland’s new Edgeheads. Harwood says they were just there to try and help Copeland win another World Title. Dax says Copeland is selfish for wanting FTR to take a backseat to them.
Is Tony Schiavone in trouble?
Harwood says he knows there are people in the back not happy with them and then targets Tony Schiavone. Nigel McGuinness tries to convince Schiavone to stay at the table, but he goes into the ring anyway.
Dax asks Schiavone to repeat what he said on Dynamite. Schiavone says they were wrong, and they turned their back on the man who helped them get to where they are in their careers. Harwood cuts him off and asks what he said about his family. Schiavone brings up Dax’s daughter and questions how she felt about them attacking Copeland.
FTR attack Schiavone and go to hit him with a spike piledriver, but he is saved by McGuinness. FTR try to attack McGuinness, but Daniel Garcia hits the ring and FTR pushes him down. Dax and Cash immediately apologize to Garcia and claim they didn’t know it was him.
Nigel McGuinness came to the aid of Tony Schiavone. But, can Daniel Garcia talk some sense into FTR?!

Women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament: Jamie Hayter vs. Billie Starkz
- The finish of the match saw Jamie Hayter hit Billie Starkz with Hayterade to score the pinfall victory.
Winner: Jamie Hayter
Grade: B+
Very good match. I’m not sure why they had these two wrestle a few weeks ago, just to rematch them in the tournament and have the exact same outcome. I feel either Starkz should have won, or this match shouldn’t have happened. Regardless, the match was very good. I enjoyed it!
Gates of Agony vs. Smash & Burn
- A quick squash match victory for the Gates of Agony.
Winners: Gates of Agony
Grade: N/A
I don’t grade squash matches. I’m curious what this win is being used to set them up for a loss to a more important team, as is the way with the random Tony Khan squash match booking.
Daddy Magic and Cool Hand Ang confront FTR
Lexy Nair tries to speak to FTR backstage. She’s interrupted by Daddy Magic and Cool Hand Ang, who berate them and promise they won’t them do to Daniel Garcia what they did to Cope. An impromptu tag match is set up between the two teams later on tonight.
Daddy Magic and Cool Hand Ang took umbridge with how FTR handled Daniel Garcia earlier tonight!

Anthony Bowens (w/ Billy Gunn) vs. Blake Christian (w/ Lee Johnson)
- The finish of the match saw Anthony Bowens hit Blake Christian with a Mollywhop to score the pinfall victory.
Winner: Anthony Bowens
After the match, Bowens gets on the microphone and puts over the fact that he’s a five-tool player. Bowens says he doesn’t need a government trademark to prove he’s the best. He lays out an open challenge for anyone to step up to him in the future.
Grade: B
Good match. I can’t help but feel like Anthony Bowens would have benefited from a more dominant victory than that they gave him. Blake Christian got in a lot of offense, and it was pretty even through most of the match. I’m interested in seeing what’s next for Bowens.
Megan Bayne (w/ Penelope Ford) vs. LMK and Kelly Madan
- The finish of the match saw Megan Bayne hit Kelly Madan with Fate’s Descent on top of LMK and pinned them both to win.
Winner: Megan Bayne
Grade: N/A
Very fun squash match, but there’s nothing here to grade.
Kevin Knight vs. AR Fox
- The finish of the match saw Kevin Knight hit AR Fox with a springboard clothesline to score the pinfall victory.
Winner: Kevin Knight
Grade: B+
Very fun match. Kevin Knight is a star, and AR Fox always delivers when called upon. Good stuff from both men.
The Gates of Agony are being fed to…
The Gates of Agony are backstage, bragging about their squash win earlier in the show. They call out The Hurt Syndicate for a match on Dynamite. Just scroll up to read my comments on their squash match. I saw something like this coming a mile away. Tony Khan really needs to change up the way he does this very paint-by-numbers booking. Giving a talent a quick win just to lose their next match does no one any favors whatsoever.

FTR vs. Daddy Magic and Cool Hand Ang
- The finish of the match saw FTR hit Daddy Magic with two Spike Piledrivers. They set him up for a third one until Daniel Garcia screams at them and Wheeler pins Daddy Magic instead.
Winners: FTR
After the match, Daniel Garcia screams at them, and they leave. As Garcia checks on Daddy Magic, FTR hit the ring and attack Garcia. They try to hit Garcia with a spike piledriver, but Garcia is saved by Paragon (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong), which finally makes FTR back down and leave.

The match itself wasn’t anything to write home about. But the aftermath is where everything of substance happened. Seeing them turn on Garcia was a big moment, and Paragon hitting the ring to make the save was a surprise I didn’t see coming. The post-match stuff bumps the match from a B to a B+ in my book.
Women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament: Athena vs. Harley Cameron
- The finish of the match saw Athena hit Harley Cameron with the O Face to score the pinfall victory.
Winner: Athena
Grade: B+
It’s so nice to see Athena on AEW programming where she belongs. This was a good match with Harley Cameron. While it’s pretty clear she’s not going to this Wednesday, I hope she isn’t relegated back to Ring of Honor after this. Athena deserves much better than that.
We get a quick promo backstage from Mercedes Moné, hyping up her match with Athena this Wednesday on Dynamite.

Men’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament: Konosuke Takeshita vs. Brody King (w/ Julia Hart)
- The finish of the match saw Konosuke Takeshita hit Brody King with a V-Trigger to score the pinfall victory.
Winner: Konosuke Takeshita
Grade: A-
Konosuke Takeshita celebrates his win on the stage beside the Owen Hart Cup as AEW Collision goes off the air.
AEW Collision Review:
There have been a lot of great episodes of Collision in 2025, this wasn’t one of them. It was fine. Much like the early days of Collision, FTR carried this show from a storyline standpoint. While there wasn’t anything necessarily bad about this episode, the overall show didn’t feel that important to me.
When it came to the matches, you knew the winner of every one before the bell even rang. The main event was easily the best thing on the show, but I’m hoping they’ll put more effort into the Thursday episode of Collision next week.
Grade: B
