After Drake attended WWE Elimination Chamber, fans buzzed about the possibility of Kendrick Lamar potentially making an appearance for AEW. A new report provides an update.
Drake and Lamar have been beefing for a long time, and their feud heated up in 2024 as they took turns dropping diss tracks about each other. They had taken shots at each other in the past, but the rivalry drastically heated up throughout 2024. Lamar targeted Drake on Future & Metro Boomin’s “Like That”, and Drake fired back, beginning a back-and-forth series that sparked immeasurable buzz. Lamar also called Drake out during his performance at the Super Bowl.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reported an update about Kendrick Lamar potentially appearing for AEW and noted that the possibility had been pitched by several wrestlers and people in the company. However, he wrote that it would likely be very difficult to pull off.
Ricochet responded to some of the buzz about Kendrick Lamar potentially appearing in AEW. When one fan wrote that Lamar didn’t know what AEW was, Ricochet fired back by saying, “Believe me, @kendricklamar knows exactly what @AEW is.”
