Tetsuya Naito appeared on the June 26 episode of AEW Dynamite.
On the go-home edition of AEW Dynamite ahead of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, the Blackpool Combat Club faced Los Ingobernables de Japón. The match ended with a disqualification after Wheeler Yuta got hit with a chair, and the trios started brawling. NJPW star Tetsuya Naito came out, and he brawled with his opponent at Forbidden Door, IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley.
Bryan Danielson also got involved in the brawl, as he made the save when Shingo Takagi kept attacking Wheeler Yuta.
Naito is a former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion and a three-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion. Moxley beat him to win the world title at NJPW Windy City Riot. Naito will challenge for the gold at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
