Mercedes Moné and Orange Cassidy both had an eventful night on the May 29 episode of AEW Dynamite. Moné defeated Skye Blue in her first match on AEW Dynamite. She was then confronted by Stephanie Vaquer. Meanwhile, Cassidy was blindsided by his former friend Trent Beretta, who aligned with Don Callis.
Moné made her return to the ring after a lengthy absence at AEW Double or Nothing. There, she beat Willow Nightingale to win the TBS Championship.
