Ernest ‘The Cat’ Miller To Enter MLW’s Battle RIOT IV

Ernest “The Cat” Miller is coming to MLW.

The wrestling legend is announced as the latest entrant in MLW’s Battle RIOT match. This will take place on June 1 from Center Stage in Atlanta.

MLW’s official website announced the former WCW star as the third entrant for the titular match. He joins Matt Riddle and Sami Callihan in the battle royal-style bout. Miller was known as “The Cat” throughout his career, and was famous for his karate skills used in the ring.

He is also known for his entrance music. Miller was the first person to use the “somebody call my momma” theme, made popular by Brodus Clay in the WWE in the 2010s. He will likely revive that track for his appearance in MLW for Battle RIOT VI.

If Ernest “The Cat” Miller wins the Battle RIOT, he will earn a shot at the MLW World Heavyweight Championship. The match is a “mash-up of a battle royal and anything goes street fight”. It will feature 40 wrestlers, all battling to be crowned the winner.

On their official website, MLW wrote:

MLW today announced legend Ernest “The Cat” Miller as a participant in the 40-wrestler MLW: Battle RIOT VI on Saturday, June 1 at Center Stage in Atlanta, GA.

Somebody call his Momma! WCW legend and Karate Hall of Famer, Ernest “The Cat” Miller is the third participant to enter the 2024 Battle RIOT in Atlanta!

A showman and striker with fury and finesse, Miller will make his MLW debut in the biggest match of MLW. Known for his cat-like reflexes, this martial artist aims to pounce on the competition and leap ahead in line for a title shot anytime, anywhere.
