Becky Lynch is reportedly taking time off following WWE WrestleMania 40.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that Becky Lynch is believed to be taking some time off from WWE. Further details were not provided.
Lynch won the Women’s Elimination Chamber match to earn a shot at the Women’s World Championship. She challenged Rhea Ripley for the gold in the opening match of WWE WrestleMania 40. As noted on commentary, Lynch worked the match with strep throat, and she had a 102-degree fever at one point the week of the show. Ripley won the bout, and Lynch was absent from the following episode of WWE RAW.
Lynch’s husband Seth Rollins is also reportedly taking time off following WrestleMania 40 as well. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
