WWE has announced the dates for the two-week NXT Spring Breakin’ special.
During the April 9 episode of WWE NXT, the broadcast team confirmed that the two-week special would begin on the April 23 episode of NXT and conclude with the April 30 episode.
The first major match has been set for the opening week. During Tuesday’s episode, Trick Williams called out NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov and challenged him to a title match. Dragunov told Trick that he would have to take a big risk if he wanted the bout, as he said that Williams would have to leave NXT if he lost. Williams accepted the stipulation.
NXT Spring Breakin’ 2023 was headlined by Indi Hartwell defending the NXT Women’s Championship against Roxanne Perez and Tiffany Stratton. The inaugural event in 2022 was main-evented by a match between NXT Champion Bron Breakker and Joe Gacy.
