Nikkita Lyons is officially back in action.
During the December 12 episode of WWE NXT, Nikkita Lyons came to the aid of NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria during the opening segment also involving Cora Jade and Blair Davenport. The brawl that took place between all four later set up a tag team match.
Things went south for Lyons and Valkyria when Tatum Paxley popped up at ringside to distract the champ. Lyons was able to make the save initially, but Davenport snuck in a tag to Jade who was able to pin Valkyria to win it for her team.
Lyons has been out of action since January after suffering a torn ACL and meniscus. Her last match was against Jakara Jackson on the January 20 episode of NXT Level Up. After 10 months away, Lyons started reappearing on television on November 28.
Additionally, Jade made her return to the ring for the first time since July on Tuesday. Prior to her return at NXT Deadline, she had been absent for a number of months, and she had not wrestled since July.
