CM Punk is reportedly backstage at WWE NXT.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that CM Punk is backstage at the NXT taping on December 12. Sources note that Punk has been “hanging out” throughout the day. Sapp writes that Punk has been giving talent feedback on matches throughout the
Ibou of WrestlePurists responded to the report and noted that sources stated that Punk was “buzzing” after his appearance, so he flew to Orlando. Ibou wrote that Punk will be doing a lot of observing and seeing how things work at NXT, in terms of television production.
Nick Hausman of Haus of Wrestling reports that Punk is not planned for Tuesday’s show.
Punk appeared at NXT Deadline on December 9 and teased signing with NXT. He ultimately announced that he was signing with RAW on the December 11 episode of WWE RAW.
Update: Punk did not make an appearance on Tuesday’s episode of NXT. However, Lola Vice shared a picture she took with him, seemingly confirming his presence backstage.
Sapp later wrote that Punk has been giving talent feedback on matches throughout the show.
