During the November 28 episode of WWE NXT, two more Iron Survivor Challenge qualifying matches took place.
In the first bout, Kelani Jordan and Kiana James went one-on-one in a match-up that was selected by WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler. James was on track to victory when the bell suddenly rang. It was revealed to be Roxanne Perez attempting to distract James. In the end, Jordan capitalized and landed a split-legged moonsault for the pinfall victory.
Later on, Bron Breakker and Eddy Thorpe clashed in their first televised match together. Despite Thorpe’s best efforts, the former NXT Champion secured his victory with a spear as he looks to re-enter the title picture.
This will mark the first Iron Survivor Challenge appearance for both Jordan and Breakker. As noted, the winners of each Iron Survivor Challenge match will receive a future title shot from their respective division.
