Yuta defeated Katsuyora Shibata for the title on the November 25 episode of AEW Rampage.
Yuta ended Shibata’s title reign at 240 days, which started when he beat Yuta at ROH Supercard of Honor in Los Angeles in April. This is Yuta’s third ROH Pure title reign.
Wheeler Yuta won the match after he hit Katsuyori Shibata with a low blow. He followed with a seatbelt pin to secure the title win.
Yuta attacked Shibata after the match and planted him with a DDT. HOOK saved Shibata and ran Yuta off as AEW Rampage went off the air.
