Jeff Jarrett discloses the minor mouth surgery he underwent this week.
Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite will emanate from Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. Prior to flying out for this week’s broadcast, though, Jeff Jarrett underwent a minor oral surgery. Speaking on My World with Jeff Jarrett, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed that he recently had to get surgery to have one of his molars removed.
“Woke up yesterday morning, it kind of bothered me through the weekend, my very back molar had to go,” Jarrett said. “Never had a cavity in my life, always had good luck there. Tooth had to go, got an implant put in. We talked root canal and all kinds of stuff. He goes, ‘What’s your schedule this week?’ I said, ‘Oh, I fly to Portland, Oregon, tomorrow.’”
You up for it now?
“He said, ‘Okay, when you get back from that.’ I said, ‘I’m not sure about this weekend. Very possible [I] could go to Oakland, not real sure.’ He said, ‘What about next week?’ I said, ‘That’d be Ontario and LA.’ We know each other well. He goes, ‘So you don’t have anything really for the foreseeable future.’ I said no, alright, let’s go for it, just get it out. He goes, ‘You up for it now?’ I said, ‘Do the whole ball of wax.’”
Though the surgery was a minor operation, Jarrett was thankful to have this issue resolved relatively quickly. “I’m very grateful, and all kidding aside, you don’t have your health, you don’t have anything,” Jarrett said.
The current AEW star also noted that he hasn’t had surgery before throughout his lengthy career.
WrestleZone will provide coverage of AEW Dynamite as it airs on later tonight.
