MJF scored a big win on the October 26 episode of AEW Dynamite, and he has a monumental match lined up for AEW Collision.
On Wednesday night, AEW World Champion MJF continued his rivalry with Bullet Club Gold as he defended the Dynamite Diamond Ring against Juice Robinson. MJF has won the ring every year since AEW launched in 2019. Robinson earned the right to challenge for the ring by winning the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale on October 18.
In the end, despite plenty of interference from The Gunns, MJF scored the win by hitting Robinson with the diamond ring and pinning him with The Heatseeker.
After the match, The Gunns, Robinson, and Jay White attacked MJF. The Kingdom initially made the save, and when they were overwhelmed, The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Caster) and Billy Gunn ran down to help MJF. MJF then challenged White and Bullet Club Gold to face him and his team the following week. However, he said he would never team with Max Caster.
MJF’s night wasn’t over yet. As he made his way up the ramp, Kenny Omega came out and confronted him. Omega noted that MJF was about to break his record for the longest AEW World Title run, and he wanted to defend the streak. MJF challenged him to a match on the October 28 episode of AEW Collision. The match was then confirmed.
