AEW star and ROH World Tag Team Champion Adam Cole suffered an ankle injury at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. He later confirmed that he needed surgery, as he broke his ankle. Cole has continued to appear on AEW television, even after he reportedly had surgery in October. Cole has stated that he needed to get two surgeries.
Adam Cole took to social media on October 24 and stated that this has been the most challenging injury his career emotionally, without question. He thanked everyone for their support and stated that he will do everything he can to get back to work.
As of this writing, there is no word on when Cole will return to the ring.
