AEW Collision Results – September 30, 2023
This week’s episode of AEW Collision kicks off with promos from Big Bill, Ricky Starks, Aussie Open, FTR, Wheeler Yuta, and Bryan Danielson to hype up their All-Star 8-man tag team match later tonight.
Andrade El Idolo defeated Juice Robinson (w/ The Gunns)
- CJ Perry is shown backstage watching the match. The Gunns get ejected from ringside, and Andrade hits Juice with a double-armed DDT to score the pinfall victory.
Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho are backstage. Jericho says it’s a big deal that he and Omega are teaming up tonight. Jericho runs down the history between the two men. Omega says the two men will never like each other, but their hate for Don Callis trumps all of that. The two men agree to have each other’s backs tonight and tomorrow at WrestleDream.
Part two of Toni Storm: Portrait of a Star airs. RJ City asks Toni what the peak of her career is. Toni Storm says the peak of her career is right now. Storm reflects on a simpler time of her career before she accuses RJ City of flirting with her. Hilarious stuff.
The Kingdom defeated Best Friends
- Mike Bennett punched both members of Best Friends in their weiners. The Kingdom hit Chuck Taylor with a spiked piledriver, and Bennet scored the pinfall victory for his team.
After the match, Matt Taven said they were getting on a flight and going to see Roderick Strong. Taven gives a message to Adam Cole and tells him to meet them at Strong’s house right now if they have ever meant anything to them. Taven tells Roddy to stay neck strong.
An unholy alliance on AEW Collision
Alex Marvez confronts Don Callis and Prince Nana conspiring backstage. Nana says after tonight after The Gates of Agony take out Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega The Mogul Embassy will be in the money.
A video package plays for Julia Hart; she’s in action up next.
Julia Hart (w/ Brody King) defeated Vertvixen
- Julia Hart hits a top rope moonsault on Vertvixen to win the match via pinfall.
Hart calls out Kris Statlander for the TBS Championship match right now. Statlander comes out with Best Friends and Rocky Romero. The two women face off in the ring, and Hart backs down. Statlander says Hart can run tonight but tomorrow at WrestleDream her time is up.
It’s announced that Claudio Castagnoli will take on Josh Barnett on Zero Hour tomorrow night at AEW WrestleDream.
Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho defeated The Gates of Agony (w/ Prince Nana)
- Chris Jericho puts Bishop Kaun in the Walls of Jericho to get the submission victory for his team.
Jericho gets on the microphone after the match and confirms that he and Omega can co-exist. Kenny Omega talks about the Don Callis Family going to Japan to attack Kota Ibushi. Omega says Ibusihi takes that as an invitation. Omega says the original alpha and omega will spell the end of Callis. Chris Jericho calls Sammy Guevara the real Judas, and he’s going to ruin his life tomorrow night at WrestleDream.
A video package plays for The Righteous. It was followed up with a video package for Darby Allin and Christian Cage’s TNT Championship match at WrestleDream tomorrow and drives home the fact that it’s the main event of the show.
The Righteous defeated Travis Williams and Judas Icarus
- Vincent and Dutch win a quick squash match.
An ominous message from The Righteous
Vincent says not only will The Righteous win the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Titles at WrestleDream, but they will also make sure the MJF leaves with one hoof like his best brococho, Adam Cole. The Righteous then make an example of one of their opponents.
A video package plays hyping tomorrow’s match between Eddie Kingston and Katsuyori Shibata.
The Acclaimed confront TMDK backstage. These six men will face off for the AEW Trios Titles tomorrow night on WrestleDream: Zero Hour.
Jim Ross and Zack Sabre Jr. join the commentary team for the main event.
Ricky Starks, Big Bill, and Aussie Open defeated FTR, Bryan Danielson, and Wheeler Yuta
- Ricky Starks hit Dax Harwood with a spear to score the pinfall victory for his team.
As the two teams continue to brawl, Bryan Danielson and Zack Sabre Jr. face off against each other as AEW Collision goes off the air.
