Orange Cassidy‘s remarkable reign as AEW International Champion came to an end at AEW All Out.
In the main event of AEW All Out, Cassidy defended the AEW International Championship against Jon Moxley. The match marked Cassidy’s toughest test yet, as Moxley is a three-time AEW World Champion. Heading into the bout, Cassidy had defended the AEW International Championship 31 times.
Moxley and Cassidy clashed in a thrilling match that turned into a brutal battle early on, as Cassidy was busted open. Moxley bit the champion and zeroed in on his wound as he turned Cassidy into a bloody mess.
Cassidy kept fighting, and he rocked Moxley with multiple Orange Punches. Moxley dropped Cassidy with one Death Rider, and the champion got back to his feet. In a defiant gesture, he flipped Moxley off. “The Purveyor of Violence” then pinned Cassidy with another Death Rider.
After the bell, Cassidy got an ovation from the crowd. Fans chanted “Thank you, Orange,” as AEW All Out came to an end.
Cassidy’s reign began when he beat PAC on the October 12, 2022, episode of AEW Dynamite.
