WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler made an appearance during the August 28 edition of WWE RAW.
During a commercial break, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn brought Jerry “The King” Lawler out in front of the crowd in Memphis. Lawler walked out onto the stage, and he received got a big ovation from the fans.

Lawler had a stroke in February 2023, and he was admitted to the ICU. He subsequently had surgery, and he was briefly hospitalized. Lawler was released and cleared to go home so he could continue his recovery. He appeared in a video message at the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony, where he helped honor celebrity inductee Andy Kaufman. Monday marked the first time he appeared in a live crowd since he suffered the stroke.
