Kris Statlander is “More Than a Woman” in AEW.
How often does the Bee Gees track of the same name get stuck in her head? This is the question posed to her during a recent interview with Alicia Atout.
“Not so much anymore. It is on my main playlist that I just — this is the one [when] I don’t know what I want to listen to, I just put this playlist that I made on. All my feel-good songs. So that one is a regularly played track,” Statlander explained.
“I just love the vibe of 80s music. 80s love songs and like disco love songs and stuff. They just make you feel so good. They’re just such a happy — I don’t know, there’s just something about them,” she noted, “especially when I’m sitting on an airplane and I’m just traveling. It’s almost like a music video. You have that, ‘Oh, I’m in a music video’ type thing.
“You just start daydreaming, and they’re all very easy to just kind of tune out and just get caught up in the music a little bit. And that’s why I like them so much. They just make me feel good. I’ll listen to them while I work out, and people think that’s weird, but it’s all about feeling good.”
Kris Statlander is not booked for the upcoming AEW All In show at Wembley Stadium on August 27. Should she be added to the card, the Bee Gees will be ready to play the soundtrack of her next music video.
