Alex Shelley is really excited for Time Machine to get back together next weekend at IMPACT Emergence.
IMPACT World Champion Alex Shelley recently sat down with Scott Fishman of SEScoops. When asked about the upcoming eight-man tag at Emergence, where he’ll team with Josh Alexander, KUSHIDA, and Chris Sabin to take on Lio Rush, Moose, Bully Ray, and Brian Myers, Shelley spoke about how much reuniting Time Machine means to him.
“Kushida has a large mixed martial arts background…His versatility is his greatest strength,” Alex Shelley said. “He carried the junior division on his back a lot like Tan did in the heavyweight division. Sabin has been doing it for so long at such a high level. Sabin and I started wrestling when we were teenagers.
“You can’t discount what Sabin did within the first four years of his career. He was already an X-division champion and superstar by then. They’ve got different strengths. I think there are more similarities than differences. I think when we get to team together, it’s something that is so near and dear to me That tugs at my heart. It’s three people with one mind. It’s so unique and so special. You really don’t see that in wrestling a lot with that cohesiveness.”
