AEW Rampage Results (8/4/23): Parking Lot Fight, More

All Elite Wrestling delivered an action-packed show with the August 4 episode of AEW Rampage.

Tonight, Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli) will battle the Best Friends (Trent Beretta & Chuck Taylor) in a Parking Lot Fight. Beretta defeated Moxley and Penta El Zero Miedo in an Anything Goes Triple Threat Match on Wednesday. Best Friends brawled with Blackpool Combat Club after the bell.

Elsewhere on the show, Anna Jay will face Skye Blue. Plus, Keith Lee will team up with The Hardys to take on Kip Sabian, The Butcher & The Blade. Additionally, Swerve Strickland and AR Fox will be in action.

The results are as follows:

Match 1: Keith Lee & The Hardys defeat The Blade & The Butcher and Kip Sabian via pinfall

The opening match started off with a big win for Lee and The Hardys. Late in the match, The Hardys were able to get the upper hand on The Butcher and The Blade, taking them out of the ring after Lee hand tagged himself in. Lee then began dominating Kip Sabian in the ring, eventually throwing him out and onto the mat. Lee tagged in Jeff Hardy, who then hit the Swanton for the pin and win.

Match 2: Anna Jay defeats Skye Blue via submission

Blue came out extremely aggressive to start, chasing Jay around and trying to get her hands on the superstar before eventually shoulder-checking her to the ground. Thanks to some interference from Angelo Parker, Jay was able to get some hits in and reset the momentum.

After countering the Queen Slayer into a quick roll up, Blue would eventually get angry at Parker’s distractions, and slapped him. This allowed Jay to quickly grab her from behind and lock in the Queen Slayer for the win.

Match 3: AR Fox & Swerve Strickland defeat Logan Cruz & Tyshaun Perez via pinfall

This one was a pretty quick affair. Fox and Strickland dominated the local talent, with Fox and Strickland both hitting big moves just to show off for the crowd. Eventually, Fox would hit a brainbuster followed up by a big 450 splash for the win.

Match 4: Blackpool Combat Club defeats Best Friends via pinfall

In the Parking Lot Match to end the night, it was the Blackpool Combat Club that walked out with a vicious win. From the very beginning, Moxley began using any and all weapons, including a fork that he attacked Trent Beretta with.

The groups continued to fight it out, with Claudio Castagnoli getting thrown onto the back of a car by the Best Friends before Chuck Taylor began attacking Castagnoli with the spoiler.

Later on in the match, things continued to get rowdy, with Castagnoli once again being thrown onto a car, this time through the windshield. Moxley then suplexed Taylor onto a guardrail, before hitting Beretta with a Death Rider onto a car’s windshield. In the chaos, Taylor began siphoning gas out of a car and then spit it onto a barbed wire board, which he lit on fire. Spotting Wheeler Yuta, Taylor was hesitant to hit him, causing Moxley to snatch the weapon and attack Taylor with it.

In the end, it was the Blackpool Combat Club who would come out on top, as Moxley got Trent onto a car and then began stomping him into the windshield, knocking him out and allowing Moxley to pin him for the pin.
