Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Final Set For 7/15 AEW Collision

Willow Nightingale is moving on to the Owen Hart Foundation tournament finals.

In the main event of the July 14 episode of AEW Rampage, Nightingale battled ROH Women’s World Champion Athena in the last semi-finals match of the 2023 Owen Hart Cup. The bout was originally scheduled for the July 8 Collision, but the bout was postponed because Nightingale was not cleared to compete.

Once the two stars clashed on Friday, Nightingale scored the upset win against the champion, as she rolled her up at the end of a hard-fought match. With the victory, Nightingale advanced to the finals of the tournament; she will face Ruby Soho on the July 15 episode of AEW Collision.

This marks Athena’s first singles loss in AEW or Ring of Honor since she lost a TBS Championship match against Jade Cargill at AEW All Out last September.

Nightingale previously beat Nyla Rose to advance to the semifinals. On the other side of the bracket, Soho defeated Britt Baker and Skye Blue to punch her ticket to the finals.

WrestleZone will have complete coverage of the July 15 episode of AEW Collision as it airs on TNT.
