Will Ospreay has earned a rematch with Kenny Omega.
At NJPW Dominion, Ospreay defeated Lance Archer in the finals of a tournament that determined the next challenger for Omega’s IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship. Ospreay previously beat Hiroshi Tanahashi at NJPW Resurgence to advance to the finals, while Archer defeated Fred Rosser in the first round.
After the match, Ospreay stated that he’s going to take the title from Omega in Canada, seemingly setting the stage for their match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 25; the event will be held in Toronto.
Omega defeated Ospreay to win the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship in a memorable match at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17.
