Two more first-round matches in the NXT Women’s Championship tournament took place on the May 16 episode of WWE NXT.
To open the show, Cora Jade defeated Fallon Henley by pinfall. Later on, former champion Roxanne Perez pinned Jacy Jayne to secure her spot in the semi-finals.
In the semi-finals, Perez will face Tiffany Stratton, and Jade will clash with Lyra Valkyria. These matches will be on the May 23 episode of WWE NXT.
Stratton previously beat Gigi Dolin in the opening round, while Valkyria defeated Kiana James.
The tournament finals to crown the new NXT Women’s Champion will be held at NXT Battleground on Sunday, May 28, in Lowell, Massachusetts.
