Leva Bates is getting ready to enter a new chapter.
In a tweet on May 1, Bates announced that her contract with All Elite Wrestling had expired. She reflected on her time with the company and noted that she has learned a lot. Bates stated that she witnessed history taking place, as she was with AEW from the first show. She expressed her appreciation and love for the whole team, and she made it clear that she would cherish the memories forever. Bates wrote that it was time to focus on herself, her future, and her career as she entered a new chapter.
During her time with AEW, Bates was initially paired up with Peter Avalon as”The Librarian.” As one of the AEW originals, she had been with the company since 2019. She was an important figure behind the scenes, especially with the AEW Heels program. Bates last wrestled on the February 20 episode of AEW Dark: Elevation.
