Dark Side of the Ring, one of wrestling’s most enthralling series, is officially back next month.
Earlier this month, it was announced that the popular documentary series would be making its return to Vice TV for season 4. The ten-episode fourth season will premiere on Tuesday, May 30 at 10pm. ET. The series’ season 3 spanned fourteen episodes, airing its season finale in October 2021 covering the infamous steroid trials surrounding former WWE CEO Vince McMahon in the 1990s.
On Wednesday morning, Dark Side of the Ring unveiled its official trailer for season 4 teasing some of the scenes viewers can expect to see. The new season will be narrated by AEW star Chris Jericho as the Vice TV series presents “unforgettable new tales of conquest…and agonizing sagas of catastrophe.” The minute-long clip also revealed the series will explore the following topics in its fourth season:
- Chris Candido and Tammy Sytch
- Magnum T.A.
- Adrian Adonis
- Doink The Clown
- Junkyard Dog
- Marty Jannetty
- Bam Bam Bigelow
- Abdullah The Butcher
- Bash at the Beach 2000
- The Graham Family
In anticipation of their upcoming episode drop, executive producers Evan Husney and Jason Eisener recently spoke with Variety. “We’re incredibly grateful to our viewers for giving this show the life that it has had for the past 4 years,” they said. “As lifelong fans of professional wrestling, our subjects continue to inspire us. There are so many fascinating and compelling stories left to tell and it’s a privilege to share more of them in our fourth season.”
