David Finlay Joins Bullet Club At NJPW 51st Anniversary

A new chapter in the illustrious history of Bullet Club has begun, as David Finlay has joined the group.

Previously, former Bullet Club leader Jay White was forced to leave NJPW. Hikuleo beat him in a Loser Leaves Japan match at NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka, and Eddie Kingston defeated him to exile the former champion at NJPW Battle in the Valley. This outcome left the group’s future up in the air, though the next step was tesed when David Finlay attacked White at NJPW Battle in the Valley.

At NJPW’s 51st Anniversary show on March 6, Finlay confirmed his allegiance to Bullet Club, as he officially joined the group and Gedo accompanied him to the ring.

White’s eventful night continued as he defeated Tomohiro Ishii to advance in the New Japan Cup . He will face Great-O-Khan in a second-round matchup on March 15.

Elsewhere at NJPW 51st Anniversary, Shota Umino punched his ticket to the next round by defeating Yujiro Takahashi; on March 15, he will take on Zack Sabre Jr. in the second round.
